Victoria “Torie” Hand, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in pediatric and emergency care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and holds two Bachelors of Science degrees in Nursing and Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in biomedical sciences and behavioral psychology.
Torie currently provides care at two pediatric primary care offices, where she is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and helping families feel confident in their children’s health. She also serves as a Clinical Coordinator at the University of North Florida, where she mentors nurse practitioner students as they gain hands-on clinical experience.
Her clinical background includes pediatric emergency and trauma care at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and AdventHealth, where she served as a trauma nurse, charge nurse, and preceptor. She was also recognized during the COVID-19 pandemic with the Guardians of Our Culture Award for her team’s leadership and dedication.
Outside of work, Torie enjoys spending time with her husband, Brandon, her two bonus sons, their two dogs, and their tortoise. She is very family-oriented and spends much of her free time visiting extended family in Ocala and Middleburg. Torie is also active in her faith community and attends Anastasia Baptist Church, where she enjoys connecting with others and giving back to her community.
